Topic 1: Noting the demise of Clatchy Newspapers, and remembering Kodak.
One of the classic examples about innovation is Kodak’s failure to take advantage of digital photography. They doubled down on the past. Dave says the article makes some excellent points. And Ryan? Well, you have to listen. Bottom line: Doing everything right in context can still result in doing everything wrong in the big picture.
Topic 2: Are you ready for industry 4.0 and reality 4.0?
On the surface this is an article about the most advanced of new technologies. But at the detail level, none of this is remotely possible without the underlying infrastructure of computing that is the heart of the channel ecosystem.
Nerdy dive into VR, AR, xR. But also a cautionary note about trying to date if you look like a nerd.
